Friday I’m in love with food #2

Hey guys and gals, welcome to my new series where I highlight my weekly dinners with my mom. We frequent the same places often and try new places when we can, but we always try new things wherever we go. So enjoy the photos and reviews I offer here…and we will continue to enjoy the good eats! 😉

This restaurant has several locations here in South Florida, but this is our first one that is local right in Coral Springs. The appetizer was the best part. Whoever thought of making philly sandwiches inside of egg roll wrappers is a genius and then adding queso as a dipping sauce is a total game changer. The whole concept is a party for your taste buds. The drinks were yummy and cheap, especially considering how big they were. My mom’s dinner, the mahi reuben, was very good but unfortunately they forgot to include the 1000 island dressing. No problem though, it was brought right away and the waitress (who was absolutely wonderful) and the general manager (who is also pretty great) made sure to make a note of it as they are new and want to work through any kinks. Other than that, her sandwich was huge and after our appetizer, she ended up bringing more than half of it home. My lobster roll was also very good. Light and buttery, as it should be. Overall, everything we had was yummy and we are pleased to have a new place in town to go to. Our waitress was the best part though (aside from those philly wrappers, obviously LOL) and the restaurant should definitely value her because she made our entire visit even better. It’s important to have great servers and I think that this restaurant is heading for success so far.
